Invisibility cloak for review by the Quest, the two research groups

After a short period of news, it's time back in the world of the invisibility cloak. Imperial College, London, Cornell University and UC Berkeley researchers in the two groups separate from the physicist John Pendry's theory, inspired by the idea of cloaking devices have been prototyped own. Two works with essentially the same way: the object is hidden by the light in a manner that fully reflects the small silicon nanopillars 1000000000000 kinds to create a fantasy look, thanks to the flat mirror. It's a bit, sure, but at least one faint hope in this project clearly convinced that we will receive a video presentation technology anxiety.

The Secret USB

The Secret USB Flash Drive Watch is more about convenience than stealth. Why so? USB flash drives are small enough that they can be ‘jammed’ just about any where. The storage is a desirable 4GB, while the price
makes it a less attractive proposition at $50.

A new video on demand

A new video on demand services will reach the Wii console sometime in 2009, it said the people from Nintendo. Both the competence of the consoles, the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3, have similar services, but the Wii has the potential to trump everyone with his amazing statistical line: 40% of the 35 million Wiis sold are connected to the Internet. Let me underline that the 14 million potential subscribers to the online service, enough to power intergalactic Mario Superstar in the stratosphere of digital nirvana.

Along with this commitment, Nintendo has to seriously address the storage situation. A measly SD card 2GB simply is not enough to make it a viable center of the media. Nintendo hopes that addresses this issue and comes with an elegant, intuitive and efficient service.

Announcement soon according to Wired.com:

* Nintendo will partner with Japanese advertising giant Dentsu to create a service that will offer video over the Internet.
* Nintendo will begin offering VOD in Japan in 2009 for a trial period at first, then expand to other countries.
* VOD options means that it is very likely that a great accessory storage will be announced shortly. Currently, the Wii offers 512 MB of internal flash memory storage, plus up to 2 GB, 4 GB on an SD card outsourcing. That's fine if you want a few up to 23-minute television shows, but something much larger is needed for movies.
* The two companies will develop original programming for the Wii, which will be available through the network. The company is considering developing videos for free, but some (or many?) Will be available for an as-yet-undisclosed fee.

Bluetooth cassette

Before making his car from the cassette deck completely useless, take a second and consider Bluetooth cassette tape adapter. Through the magic of your peers Bluetooth mobile phone audio, while the headset profile (and perhaps the profile of MP3) to your speakers of the car through the cassette deck. There are built in microphone to pick up his voice, but I'm skeptical about how well it works when inserted into the cassette deck. It seems that the charges via USB.

The Bluetooth cassette tape adapter is available here for $ 40

Greenheart Concept phone review

There are about two and a half million mobile phones in the world, and time in cooperation with our conscience dictates that they must all be recycled in some way, or at least their batteries must be recycled in order not to cause pollution of environment. There were not many gadgets telecommunications, where from 100% secure materials that could be recycled easily without science facilities. Fortunately, the sight of this type of gadget environment has recently been cached. Greenhart concept of cell phone from Sony Ericsson was seen last week in the capital of Denmark, in the event of another brand. Sony Ericsson Greenhart concept is not a pre-production model as far as we know, is just to test, first attempts to imagine what our favorite gadgets, as it would in a few years, and, of course, gain experience.
